We are TWO family-owned businesses that decided to join forces for ONE fantastic event for our customers!
In 2008, a new vintage furniture consignment store opened in the Short North. John and Sue Konieczko became intrigued with the thought of buying, repairing, repurposing, and painting neglected vintage furniture and selling it in this new shop. Because of John's carpentry background, and Sue's talent for decorating, their customer base grew and they soon outgrew that consignment shop.
In 2011, they opened their own retail store at 3284 North High Street in Clintonville, Ohio under the name Cottage Street Furnishings. Within two years they outgrew this new location and expanded into the other half of the building.
They remained in Clintonville until July 2, 2016, when they moved Cottage Street to 1310 Grandview Avenue, Grandview Heights, Ohio. Presently, this space is occupied by Vernacular Home.
The Peach Orchard
The Peach Orchard offers a wide selection of handmade and home decor items. Vintage and repurposed is what we do best. We also make throw pillows, scarves, handmade greeting cards, farmhouse signs and XL Scrabble Tiles which are available at Cottage Street in Grandview, Ohio. Or to order anything online, visit our Etsy Shop!
The Peach Orchard was founded by Kim Bobb in 2011. We started out at a local antique mall selling our handpicked treasures and refinished vintage items. We soon outgrew our little space at the antique mall and began to sell on the pop up show market. This little business gives us the opportunity to express our creative flair and breathe new life into amazing, one of a kind vintage treasures. Today, our curated items can be found at Cottage Street, pop up markets around Columbus and online via Etsy. Kim is supported by her amazing family and friends as we step into this new and exciting venture together.
